Job Summary:

We are seeking a 1099/C2C contract based data integration consultants with deep Confluent & Flink skills for a client engagement. We need people who have "been there, done that" when it comes to designing and implementing either greenfield cloud-native applications or modernizing existing applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to understand, document and provide context on customers' systems.

  • Ability to triage and be first responder for production support.

  • Have understanding and be able to compose, gather, automate all the data/metrics needed for production triaging and support.

  • Be able to train and work with a service pod about customers System - Architecture, setup and process.

  • Ability to come up with solutions.

  • Knowledgeable on client and Flink libraries, Ansible scripts etc.

  • Proactive automation and setup for monitoring; optimization for offshore quick response.

  • Act as coordinator/facilitator with a service pod.

  • Flexible schedule as needed for production support

Qualifications:

  • US Citizen or Green Card (we can't sponsor any visas)

  • Experience as a billable customer facing enterprise consultant with exceptional soft skills

  • Availability to work and take client calls for a minimum of 4 hours during an 8 AM - 5 PM workday

  • Significant and authoritative experience in enterprise architecture, design and implementation of Kafka, Confluent, Apache Spark and Apache Flink

  • API Coding proficiency in one or many: Python, Golang, Erlang, Haskell and Rust programming languages

  • Commanding understanding of Docker, K8s, CI/CD, DevOps, and DevSecOps

  • Integration using one or many Lambda, Azure Functions, or Google Cloud Functions

Nice To Haves:

  • SQL and NoSQL experience, Snowflake very interesting to us

  • GraphQL Experience

  • AWS AI experience - Bedrock, Pinecone, Kedra, Amazon Q for Business

  • Visualization with PowerBI, Tableau, Snowsight, Grafana
